Chain rubbing tire....?

Make sure your wheel is in the bracket straight I use my thumb and finger on both sides 9f the wheel compared against the frame.
Got to watch when tightening the bolts that the tire does not turn to the side.
But space is tight on the bikes as long as you have 1/16" clearance it will probably be fine unless you have supper thick mountain bike treads it snags on.

Different bikes have differing restrictions when it comes to chain alignment. Like they say without a pic it's hard to tell what yours are. Some require the sprocket dished in, some out. Some need the tire slightly offset for good clearance on both sides. If you are running a beach cruiser usually it will need the dished in towards the spokes. Depending on the sprockets on both the engine and wheel you may be able to drop to a 410 chain. Some are to thick to allow this. So if the sprocket is on correctly and you can't get clearance without rubbing the other side experimenting with washers might be worth a try, but most likely you will need to go to a smaller tire size.

you don't want to use the tension wheel to pull the chain over, that will f*** up the chain alignment and it will come off your sprovcket for sure. Also, you can get a spacer of some sort to shim out the drive sprocket a little and that should fix the problem
