Get a spoke wrench, adjust spoke tension: loosen the LH spokes, tighten the RH spokes. This will pull the wheel rim to the right. Probably don't need more than 1/4 turn to get clearance.

They also make offset engine mounts to move the engine over to clear wider tires

If the chain is straight on both sprockets maybe a narrower tire might work. 1.95 wide instead of a 2.25.
