I’m thinking people cut or use a chain breaker when putting the chain on. I’ve never can get tight enough without some kind of tensioner. Im beginning to believe that they have a certain way of measuring and connecting it together. So it’s tight enough with out a tensioner. So let me hear some of your methods of getting it tight. I always depend on the stock tensioner that it will take of the slack by sliding back toward the back sprocket. I’m really sure that’s really not right.

No secrets that i know of, just wrap the chain around both sprockets see where they meet, grab that link and never let go until i get the pin pressed out. Press chain back together at new length. Voila
