Hi all,

I’m looking for a gas tank for my chopper build. I found this guy on eBay. I like the size and shape but the price seems a little steep. I made and offer and they countered by knocking $1 off the asking price. In comparison JP cycles has 3 gallon tanks for less money but I think that is too big.

My other option is the standard 4L tanks all over eBay for $40. Is there anything in between price wise?

That's a nice looking tank, if you were to go that route, inspect it very carefully. I see some rusty areas that shouldn't be rusty.
Here's another option, but the petcock goes near the front and the tank has to be level-ish.

If you are still looking I have a fake tank you can put over a kit tank. 30 bucks plus shipping.
