You dont have a wrist pin bearing trying to come apart do you? If you have head off, that might be worth checking.
This area all looked fine to me when it was apart, not 100% sure if it’s loosening itself but I did not notice anything like that.

OK...I'm old and half deaf now...lol...Would i be correct in assuming that I heard that clinking sound more pronounced on the left side than the right side?...If so, I would be looking where the chain goes into the left clutch cover drive gear and see if there is "just" enough chain slack there where it is vibrating off the casing...If so, just put a wee more tension on the chain and then try it out, also make sure it is not slightly bouncing off the chain guard just a little bit too...lol...Well thats my 2 cents worth...DAMIENI noticed a clinking noise that soon became the only thing i heard when i started it up.

The chain area is clinky when I ride, but unless it's the drive sprocket and the chain, the sound is too far toward the engine. But I will look at that area, I made an adjustable custom tensioner instead of using the dangerous folding one.OK...I'm old and half deaf now...lol...Would i be correct in assuming that I heard that clinking sound more pronounced on the left side than the right side?...If so, I would be looking where the chain goes into the left clutch cover drive gear and see if there is "just" enough chain slack there where it is vibrating off the casing...If so, just put a wee more tension on the chain and then try it out, also make sure it is not slightly bouncing off the chain guard just a little bit too...lol...Well thats my 2 cents worth...DAMIEN
I asked my shoe that it tore up the same question. (it won't clear the tire anyways )Chain guard, what's that?
This is a chainguard...lol...It is a full one pound of real heavy duty chainguard vs the flimsy cheap chineseium 5.5 ounce ones that comes with these kits and its not attached to the motor either where motor vibration causes metal fatigue and they break off...lol...Its attached with two "Adel" clamps...One for the rear and one on the front attached to the downtube coming down from the seat to the crank...No more broken chainguards every month or two now...lol.Chain guard, what's that?
I no longer use tensioners myself, I just customise the drive chain and pedal chain for custom fit...(This pic has the old chain guard on it.)I made an adjustable custom tensioner instead of using the dangerous folding one.
Lol I dont run the kit guard due to it breaking & ending up in wheel, causing a wreck. The kit guard is better than nothing I guess. This is a chainguard...lol...It is a full one pound of real heavy duty chainguard vs the flimsy cheap chineseium 5.5 ounce ones that comes with these kits and its not attached to the motor either where motor vibration causes metal fatigue and they break off...lol...Its attached with two "Adel" clamps...One for the rear and one on the front attached to the downtube coming down from the seat to the crank...No more broken chainguards every month or two now...lol.

This is the one I use if anyone is interested in a decent chainguard.I asked my shoe that it tore up the same question. (it won't clear the tire anyways )
That guard is dangerous... Could be repurposed into a heat shield or somethingLol I dont run the kit guard due to it breaking & ending up in wheel, causing a wreck. The kit guard is better than nothing I guess.
