Anybody else tinker or adjust the angle?

I don't tighten the nut on the adjuster until it finds its own "comfort zone".
and sometimes not at all.....where's it gonna go?

Ditto on the lube, man. My clutch lever locking button was hard to set so a shot of chain lube from an aresol can dit it to it. I lube my cables pretty weekly.
Now I'm gonna run over to my bike and loosen that cable adjustment nut...and put a brake cable in my toolpouch.

best thing that i do that roland told me to do is to go to your local bike shop and replace it with brake cable snug and lil hard to get in but dang is it strong
aboute 3 bucks or less and last a life time later

I remeber breaking mine, it snapped at the handle. $1.50 at the bike shop for a new cable. Augi taught me a trick if on the road and it breaks. Tie end of cable on a nut and stick it back in the handle. Worked great!
