I like the smooth sliding cable thing !!!
yes -- for a couple of bucks -- you will be back on the road
I noticed they have some teflon coated cables now
that's new to this getting to be old timer
I may try the teflon throttle cable next time

Sure u can use a standard cable....mix & match.
If a standard cable breaks just get the wire insert from a bicycle shop,preferably a stainless-steel insert cos for brakes u need something TOUGH(not necessarily something as tough for throttle)
