F fetor56 Guest Mar 11, 2009 #4 Sure u can use a standard cable....mix & match. If a standard cable breaks just get the wire insert from a bicycle shop,preferably a stainless-steel insert cos for brakes u need something TOUGH(not necessarily something as tough for throttle)
