So I’m having a problem with my clutch, when the clutch cover is off the clutch works perfectly, but when I put it on it runs on the cover. Does anyone have a fix to this?

I glued rubber gasket materiakl on my oem cover than trimmed out the shape of cover voila. No loctite need with the cover. My new bike berry cover was worse so it is now a holed cover and looks so trick while adding cooling.

Tighten your flower nut more and move your arm closer to the engine

Tighten your flower nut more
If the clutch works fine, how is tightening the flower nut even more going to help this situation with an otherwise, fine running clutch...it will just be overly tight with wheel engaged at all times...lol...just wondering...lol...DAMIEN

Mine was doing the same thing that's how I fixed mine. Turned 1/2 turn. clutch still worked and felt
the same

Yeah mine was touchy first did a full turn and it just locked so gradually backed it off until I hit the sweet spot at 1/2 turn

If I were him I would just cut a hole in the cover to expose the plate and nut. Keeps the plate cool when overly using the clutch lever while riding. Only down side is it will slip in the rain. However shouldn't ride in the rain to begin with could fry your 20210731_003532.jpgmagneto

You can seal in silicone RTV the front facing wire exit and run a very light smear on the magneto cover edge and it will shed water quite well. Having a full coverage front fender with a mudflap makes a difference too.
