Clutch is moving freely without engaging the clutch cable

Hello I have an issue that I'd need help with.....my clutch isn't held in and the wheel chain and gears are spinning freely .....I tried disconnecting the clutch arm to see if it was just too tight but to my surprise it still spun ....I too the clutch medal plate off the gears and the damn thing still moves freely anybody have an idea ?

Take off the3 right side cover, turn the nut in the middle of the plate in until it touches metal, pull in the clutch lever and tighten it some more. Check the action by rolling the bike, repeat until the rear wheel won't turn.

Make sure the cable from the lever is tight first.
