Clutch issues

When i have the clutch pulled in and i use the small piece on the clutch handle to hold the clutch in it kind of makes a whining sound and the engine wants to die unless i hold the clutch in by hand any ideas on what could be causing this?

It's not adjusted right, it has to be fully disengaged.

I have completely rebuilt everything on this motor except for the clutch i have no idea what i am doing as far as repairing it goes

Take the clutch side cover off, and turn the flower nut in a bit. You'll have to pull the clutch lever in first and then turn the flower nut. There is a little set screw the holds the flower nut in place, don't loose it.

Hello so i'm having some problems, after having to change some parts in my clutch, including clutch pads and etc, the clutch is always disengaged for whatever reason, i've tried adjusting the clutch spring that is inside, wont help, ive tried adjusting the cable also wont help, any more ideas...

It's not adjusted right, it has to be fully disengaged.

Yeah that was totally the problem now the motor runs smoother than it ever did and i hit speed of 50kmh no problem
