Clutch off and on

My cdi wire got melted on the muffler and grounded out and now when I pop the clutch it only turns over a few times and seizes up. Its like the title says. Off and on. Has anyone had this?

Fix the wires or Replace the CDI

Next time zippie tie the wires out of the way and keep the CDI away from the exhaust pipe, Excessive heat will ruin it
