clutch problems. advice needed

I have a new 66cc motor. when I push the clutch lever on the engine in by hand, no matter what position I put it in I cannot get the sprocket to turn. is this a case of adjusting the flower nut or the internal preload spring?

It should engage when you are not pushing the lever in. I'd try adjusting the flower nut first before trying anything else

You might find these start to finish instructions of how to properly adjust the entire clutch assembly useful so your not chasing your tail...lol.

2Stroke clutch always disengaged

Hello so i'm having some problems, after having to change some parts in my clutch, including clutch pads and etc, the clutch is always disengaged for whatever reason, i've tried adjusting the clutch spring that is inside, wont help, ive tried adjusting the cable also wont help, any more ideas...

thanks I'll give it a try. I have built three of these engines and this is the first one with a clutch this stiff and seemingly misadjusted
