I eventually plan to upgrade to an SAF clutch on my phantom 85 as I would like to adapt an 85cc dirt bike pipe to it eventually. However I found that upgrading the clutch itself puts more strain on the clutch springs and pin inside the case. I found upgrades for that spring on this thread https://motoredbikes.com/threads/heavy-duty-clutch-spring-info.64045/page-3 but there doesn't seem to be any real answer on an upgraded pin or spring. Just wondering if anyone knows where eone could find these parts. Thanks!

The pin you can make. The spring question.has yet to be answered, afaik.
I read that maybe a drill bit shank would be an option, but it may also be too brittle. Perhaps just some stainless steel round stock?
You would think that there would be some good universally used solution to this clutch situation, but I have not seen it as of yet in the forums.
I guess some things still remain a mystery...lol.

No idea about the spring but for pins use a steel dowel, for example:

We use them all the time in industry

Sweet! Thanks. I'm sure any of those would be a better strength steel than what comes stock. Not too badly priced either.
