Cold weld on mounting plate? Will it work?

Hello, I recently encountered a big problem with my 80cc 2-stroke install. I require the "universal U mount" for the engine to fit on my bicycle. When I was putting the mounting plate for the U mount on to the engine one of the bolts snapped off flat in the engine! I double checked and I was using the correct bolt. The bolt was only half way in when it snapped so I'm pretty sure I didn't over torque the bolt. I looked up methods of getting the bolt out like using a chizel to turn the bolt out just enough to get a pair of locking plyers to bite on but nothing worked. I talked with the company and they likely won't send me a replacement (it was a long shot but I had to ask just in case). The only solution I can think of is to use a combination of loctite on the bolt that still works and using JB cold weld on the side that has the broken bolt. Is there any chance at all that this will sufficiently hold the engine if I don't ride it too hard?
