Comfort suggestions for a beach cruiser?

I am unaware of your budget but many riders like ergonomic gel grips similar to this: https://ergonbike.shop/collections/comfort-touring-fitness/products/gp1-evo-single-twistshift

Front suspension can help. There are suspension stems, if you don't want to replace the fork. If you are interested in suspension forks, 40mm of travel is tiny but nice, however 80-100mm is better suited to your riding. Suntour XC is very good value for the money and very durable.

There are suspension seats, suspension seat posts, you want adjustable preload. Adjusting spring rate requires rebuilding the suspension seatpost/fork. Cycling about and other Bicycle touring based coverage is a good source of info for comfort components. Gotta stay comfy when your ride 8-10 hours a day!
Are there really suspension forks for beach cruisers? I assumed that was more so for mountain bikes and what not. I do want to look into a suspension seatpost atleast though. Honestly, I don't have an issue with the grips on my bike, it's really just the seat. I also think I have a funky tube size though, 25.4 mm? So I need to find something that would work with that.

I've put several suspension forks on beach cruisers. This was my old bike, it had an Rst Cappa fork. Most steerer tubes are 1 inch or 1 and 1/8 inch.

I might do the suspension seatpost first and if it still kind of sucks might try one of these!
DANG that's a big seat.

I did it with the seat first as it has two springs on it mounted on two rubber balls and memory foam padding...I found that with the seat and how springy it is this way, you will not need the suspension seat post.

This extra wide seat takes care of all of this, I can ride for hours even with severe rheumatoid as well as psoriatic arthritis...My bike is a beach cruiser with no suspension other than the YLG seat and I will be 70 years old very shortly in June...That in itself should be one of the best recommendations you could possibly get for riding comfort...lol...lol.

This is the bike before I put the YLG seat on it...It was a Schwinn noseless memory foam seat but no spring suspension in the old seat, it was comfortable enough until the arthritis got worse a few years ago.
This is a Hyper Bike Company Beach Cruiser and rides smooth as silk now that I have the YLG seat on it.

OP how old are you? Some seats are better than others for comfort. Even with a pillow plush seat you're going to get iron butt hurt. Just the nature of the beast. How far can you drive a car with comfortable bucket seats before you need to get out and stretch? Getting older doesn't help either over 40.

Like Gordy said, suspension fork and seatpost, and Idk what seat you're using but maybe a seat like this?
Johnny, that seat looks like it might be a winner. Price is right too. Don't let this compliment inflate your ego. Even a broken clock gets lucky twice a day telling time.

That seat has zero suspension under it Darwin...Suspension seats cost more but are worth it, I have ridden both types and the suspension seats are superior in comfort over the cheaper non suspension seats.

Take a good look at those pics, no springs, no rubber ball joints joined to the springs, this means it is rigid with no suspension qualities to it.
