Comfort suggestions for a beach cruiser?

Been thinking about what makes a Stingray a Stingray growing up in the 60's and 70's. 2 requirements to meet that designation in my book. A banana seat with rear supports down to the axle area, and butterfly handlebars. I think that's the correct name for the bars. My opinion. A lot of different frame configurations came with Stingrays.

I had a green one, rode it for 2 years before I found out it was supposed to have a chain.
