Cool Weather

41 deg. F. , getting chilly around here, but man does the little motor bike make power. The engine temp, with the cooler outside temp make for a real sweet spot. Throttle response, torque, top speeds way better. Only downside is all the gear you have to wear.

Puter sez currently 46F, been pouring rain almost non-stop for 5 days, HIGHLY unusual.
I find the best outer layers for light rain or snow are outer shells made for snowboarding - water resistant up to a point AND breathable - and stuff like Frog Toggs (made for motorcycling) in heavier rain.
If it's pouring cats and dogs, nothing works, you're gonna get soaked no matter what you wear, either by rain or by your own sweat.
