This is a picture of a Cox Bronco Bicycle engine kit I got over the weekend, My brother has a Cox chainsaw with the same engine. Seems to be in real good shape and fires up. Not sure if all the mounting hardware is there.Have any of you guys seen one mounted on a bike before? Thanks for your help.

Is it a friction drive? Do you know if it was front or rear mounted?
Looks like a fun project.

Looks like a rear mounted friction drive... not sure about the mounting hardware. I would guess that you should just set it on the back tire and find what seems like the places on the bike that line up with the rack/connection from the motor.

i don't know rack-mounts from elbows, but i think the length of the cables is a dead giveaway.

I had one on my spider bike in 1968. Rear drive and it was a blast. Wore out the off road tire tread within a year but by the end the steel drive shaft o the motor was pretty worn too (I used it a lot).
