Cracked rings, new cylinder options

so I was riding along yesterday, and my engine just quit on me. I tried the simple stuff, but Ultimately had to tear it down. This is what I found

Needless to say some serious life choices were being questioned at the time of discovery.

Voldemort(he who shall not be named) did some porting on my jug a few years ago. Needless to say things have changed a bit since then, (see my first post about being absent from the hobby for a few years)

Okay, sorry for the essay. Here's what my options are.
1.buy a stock cylinder and try to port it myself. I've got experience with removing casting flash and porting oil galleys in small blocks. I've hand cut valve reliefs in pistons too, so I know how fast aluminum goes with grinding. I have a full set of carbide burrs for my Dremel could give it a go

2. Buy a dio cylinder and piston,but I alradys have an OZ reed and vm18 carb, so I don't wanna just brick those.

3. I just found what I'm assuming is a morini/minnareli clone, check it out.

4. A new friend of mine has a 911 type 2 cylinder for sale, with piston and rings. He wants 100 bucks. But again, I'd be abanding my intake setup.
