Thanks guys. Looking into gold leaf for pinstripes or something. Seems easy enough so it's probably pretty difficult lol.
Started welding on the tank today. Looks like sh*t at this stage. Decided to quit for the day because my patience was fading. The when bodywork goes bad quick. Have to work tomorrow but plan to work on it Tuesday.

Been a little bit since I updated and that's because it is friggin cold. Got some 5/16" wall pipe and other scrap and ended up with this.....

All that is left to do to the frame is make the exhaust mounts. That means I need to build the exhaust lol. Not much left of the MZ65 at this point, just the belly and the first turn going towards the header. Really surprising at how well the mz pipe works. So much weld inside the pipe and crushed tubing.

Welding thin wall small od tube sucks with a flux core. Probably going to clean it up some more but mostly leaving the welds unfinished. The straight segment is where the joint and springs will go. This pipe will have some wiggle room so it won't break again.

Still working on the air box / electrical compartment behind the seat tube. Haven't got far on it. Maybe I'll get on that next week.

That's how it ended up there. Was the same on the hyper.

But it my end up not getting used. Found out you no longer need an account to buy on eBay. Been looking at some other pipes and may pull the trigger on payday.

Built a new intake today because the old one hit the seat tube. Frame is at a stand still for now because of the exhaust. Decided not to use the mz65 pipe and go a different route. That holds up every thing but the engine rebuild.

Started on the engine by pressing the crank back together with the long (af80) rod. Then I made the bearings slip fit on the crank and the new clutch shaft. Also started on a balancing/ truing stand. I'll try to true it myself, have some dial indicators and a brand new brass hammer lol. I can always send it out if needed.
