Cicada… put one in my nephews pocket. Nephew was 4 at the time. I was 14.
Gave the pocket a little pat and the bug started…WAAAAA…WAAAAA.
It crawled out the pocket and up his chest still…WAAAA.. then flew off.
Nephew was petrified and screaming himself.
My sister beat the ever loving
out of me. I still hear about this 50 years later. 
Those are some interesting bugs.

Yep just send the Sped Sled, AKA, the Ree Ree Rocket, (the short bus), around to pick me up and take me to the special ed center...lol....lol...lol.

Don’t know why but they call em locust down here. They’re fascinating little monsters though.

For you, I will take a special ride.
Today!
To my surprise, there s an emergent 17-year brood, that's not down in the city.
This year, its in my backyard.
The hollers are hollering here as bad as it was in the city last year.
Stay tuned, it'll soon be posted, a Cicada Country USA series, pack-full of annoying noise, screaming, and bugs.

I lost my zeal for cicadas. Went to the woods took a short vid, got tick on me that quick. Can't mow w/o bugs hitting the mower. Turn mower off, my ears ring so bad.
I'm not riding at home till those bugs are gone. I hit the city.
Had a pizza.
Hit the city again.
Crashed the Tour De Nash.
Did the Jeep thing.
Then I hit the city again, with my Buzzbike.
Went back downtown.
Took Buzzbike out for a pizza. This bike hasn't had a pizza till today!
I'm not riding at home till those bugs are gone. I hit the city.
Had a pizza.
