Brakes Custom made dual pull brake lever

I want to show you how I modified my old and cheap brake levers to create a new one with dual pull suport. I didn't bought an original lever because it's not avaiable in my region and I don't want to spend an extra money on that bike.

Here are the levers before.


These are all parts after some changes.


This is the only custom thing that I need to complete the project.


These are all the part painted.


And this is the result. It looks ok, and works ok.

One thing to be aware of - you've introduced a single-point-of-failure for your brakes... Which may not be a good thing.

Yeah, you're right. But even in cars the brakes are combined in one pedal.

great idea! Having played around with Bicycles for years I have lots of brake levers to play around with, I will defintely try and make one.

nice job but why u waste your time, you could've bought a duel lever already made with less headaches and cheaper. I'm sure you have an excuse, bored, lonely, ect ,ect lol just pickin. Good job
