One great thing about the "intolerable, kid at Christmas" wait/feeling. (14 days here) It really did give me time to research many things before I bolted the motor on the bike. It was not in any way a fun wait, but turned out to be mighty productive. After my motor arrived, Dax was on the spot with support and help. Most importantly and as already said, so worth the wait!!!!

I'm in that position. I ordered two from dax a couple of days ago and I feel like a little kid bursting with excitement in those last few days before Christmas. But this time won't be without it's uses; I'm reading a lot and picking up a lot of hints while I'm waiting. I only hope that I won't forget the really important tips when it comes time to install.

I waited too, but next time, i'll just order 10 days earlier.

I would say the 10 days is maximum time. I have had great shipping times from Dax. Parts ussually arrive in 3-4 days and my motor arrived in under the 10days.
