Dellorto carb issue

Yep, I live in New Orleans. The highest land here is at the zoo in the monkey exhibit. Something like 9 feet above sea level.
The Dellorto is a "15.15" so I'm assuming it's 15mm? I've read about the drilling and soldering method. Anyone favor that over buying a set?
So your now 1mm smaller in dia and that will make a difference in top end performance.solder and drilling is fine to jet the carb right but tbh the cns carb was more tunable having both pilot and main jets and an air screw.

I do have a cheap CNS carb from Bikeberry for $25. I guess if I can't get the Dellorto right, I'll swap them out. Thanks everyone for the help.

The Dellorto carb real or fake run rich on the top end and is too lean in the mid to low range. More so with the fake. I like the NT but have had good results with the fake Dellorto once I drill a extra hole in the tube. Jag has much info on this, do a search. I also put a o ring in all the carbs I use.

Fake D Carb Drilled.

Fake D Carb Street Running.
