I can't believe anyone would cut a gasket and INSTALL it without noticing that they didn't make a hole for the exhaust gases to pass through. How?

This is how dumb I am when I'm tired I was watching YouTube and clicked on a cops episode .but I did not know I accidentally clicked a zombie movie for 45 seconds I was so confused
