Dio Reed Intake Breather.......Hose?

Alright kids, I just noticed there is a little threaded nipple hole on the dio intake tube, am I supposed to put a hose on it and route it somewhere? Or do I plug it up? What function does it serve? If you need a pic for reference, just check on Ebay for those dio reed kit for sale. Any help would be appreciated!

Plug it, unless you need a pulse line. At least that's is how it looks to me.

A boost bottle (read crap) or a pulse fuel pump, handy if you have a saw carb.

I plan to use the legendary.... the tried and true......the cult classic that is....... the OKO 21mm Carburetor! With that said, should I just plug it up?
