Ah, American ingenuity is a beautiful thing. Some like it hot, some like it cold, some like it loud, some like it bold..........I couldn't make up my mind so I welded a male pipe fitting on a Chinagirl muffler that is real quiet, then welded a female fitting on the exhaust pipe. Now I can screw on my quiet muffler when ole Mrs. Henderson is on the warpath, or screw on the Briggs unrestricted muffler when she has her hearing aid out. I can even carry the alternate muffler in my saddlebag for changing "on the go". I have the best of both worlds and everybody's a happy camper!
