DJ's Chopper Build

As some of you might know, im pretty much a bike freak. I have been working on bikes at a bike shop since 2001 (volunteered at the age of 15). I can do anything with a bike....so this is a good test of my "skill" .

Well, i have the itch to build another mini chopper bike. I built one 2 years ago, and have missed it ever since i sold it.

Here is a photochop of a regular beach cruser frame.

Let me know what you think and im open to suggestions. Im not so sure about the bars... but it does kindof remind me of an old 60's chopper movie. (NAME THAT MOVIE!)

Now: on with the build....

Good to hear it runs. Doesn't look like the rake/trail are even close to correct though would have massive 'flop' on the steering, guess its lil late now your finished the build but you should have in between 2-4inches of trail when raking forks like you have done, if not results will be poor (and dangerous) steering geometry...any vids of her running? Good job anywayz mate :)

p.s "(NAME THAT MOVIE!)" ... EasyRider...

It actually rides pretty awesome! I know it might look like it wants to flop, but once i get above 5 mph, it tracks pretty straight. i can even let go of one handle bar and its just fine.

I will be getting some vids up soon!
