do i need a chain tensionor for my mini bike

i have a preditor 212 mini bike with a doodle bug frame and i donw want to put a tensionor because it always causes it to fall off do i really need one or can i just make the chain the right size and drive like that

take a link or 2 out, maybe you need a half-link to get perfect tension. minis don't use a tensioner

Those bikes should have a built in chain tensioner, you adjust it by moving a skateboard wheel.

But yes, you can take out a link and call it a day)
