do you guys carry a emergancy kit? If so whats in it?

I carry a full mini tool set with metric and sae sockets, a couple different sized crescent wrenches, some allen wrenches, a spare belt for my transfer case, flat tire kit, spare tube, spare nuts and bolts, air pump, spare chain, solder gun with solder and a puller. My backpack is heavy, but I normally have no issues with a breakdown that I can't fix on the side of the road.

What are the SAE sockets for? Memories?

Other than basic tools to make minor repairs I have a small bottle of slime and a tire pump. I have used both when about 15 miles from my truck. I also have chain master links, I had to use one on my son in laws bike once. Zip ties are a must.

Believe it or not a rain suit ain't a bad idea for an emergency thunderstorm even if it a disposable keeps you riding in the rain storm without even noticing it but damn forgot the gas cock was on off made it a miserable ride.

My trike has a two foot square by eight inch deep trunk so I carry all the essential gear. Beer and cigarettes. Tom
