I did a bit of looking and I believe the brown color is caused by there being a massive transfer port on the cylinder walls, meaning after power stroke, the chamber is briefly ventilated to the crankcase, leaving unburnt fuel roasted on the outside of the piston. The bottom of the piston is perfectly clean so
