Double chain gearbox not lining up with sidecover

I don't know why but this double chain gearbox doesn't fit my 49cc 4 stroke. The bolt holes are more spread out on the cover and the bell is a few mm smaller. Maybe it's only for pocketbikes? it was advertised as a 49cc 4 stroke gearbox. Will the tapered shaft side cover fix this problem?

Simple, you bought a trans designed for a different shaft and engine.
Obviously, one has to be more careful buying parts because these
engines come in different shafts and clutch types. It's not as simple
as swapping out a trans.

I got the crankshaft covered I'm not using the straight shaft it's going to be swapped out but I didn't know the bolt pattern was different. Why would they have 2 clutch sizes and bolt pattern on the same engine is my question.

Well a brief search and I think it is a 70mm distanced bolt pattern but don't know what the bolt pattern is on the sidecover probably 74 or 75mm.

Here to avoid further confusion I will post the item I bought on ebay. In the title it clearly says 49cc 4 stroke gearbox not pocketbike gearbox.
