I just got the pletscher too. Its nice having the rear wheel off the ground. Convenient to spin the wheel to adjust/test stuff that involves the wheel, chain, peddles, and all that stuff. You can release the clutch and let the engine run in gear too and see how straight the wheel and chain turns too.

This is the kickstand I use. Its heavy duty and you can start the bike on it without the stand folding in half.

I don't use it... I bought one and found something I liked better later... Ursus https://ursus.it/shop/urban-city/jumbo-80/.
This one needed to have a couple of modifications to get it to handle the weight without wanting to move. Since installed and dialed in it hasn't shifted and has never touched the rear tire. I've had it submerged in both water and mud several times. The left leg toe is showing wear because I always rotate the bike to the left and roll it off the stand. - https://photos.app.goo.gl/J7WFRkjuKE3QwuNd9

The Whizzer Center Kickstand is probably the strongest center stand on the market for a Motorbike.
Sitting on your bike and pedal starting is no problem.
I don't have to do that. I just stand to one side and with one kick my Whizzer starts

The Whizzer Center Kickstand is kinda pricey @ $60 www.whizzercruzzerparts.com/product/center-stand-goose-neck-006/

Or if you want the Ole Skool Rear Drop Stand that allows ya to pedal start the Motorbike on the stand here it is for $100
Rear stand clip sold separate for $22 www.whizzercruzzerparts.com/product/rear-stand-clip-fits-classic-whizzershere-is-one-of-the-best/
