Downtown Denver

isn't karma a wonderful thing ?
rock on LF !!!:D
what a wonderful but almost tragic day! Karma is a wonderful thing, and that wheel was there just for You...i do believe in this...things have a way when you live right and don't do things to anger the powers that be, then things work out for people.
Next sunday is Easter...the most important of all IMO, I watch Mass on TV tho since I only have a bike and midnight mass is cold...lol
Nice pics by the way, theres enough to feel like i been there...:)
PS that wheel thing is just to coincidental like you say "you could understand a bike with no wheel" but visa versa?

Once again Large, you have made my day! That's a great story, thanks for sharing it.

Well my airless tube is going thump thump thump again. My front airless tube has been untouched since I put it on there. It's smooth. Maybe I just have too much going on in back.
So I switched to gel tubes again..I know. Last time it exploded. But I have less air in it this time and I keep another tube in my tool pouch for a spare along with a mini pump.
The ride is like night and day. Smooth.
I miss this smooth ride. Suddenly the bike seems too slow.
Maybe those 36 tooth sprockets or whatever is a good thing.
I would have to pedal up to speed.
I gotta lose some weight already.

Easily I went over 100 miles today. My journey started at the park where I drove my truck to avoid a massive hill and my original plans were to go to Golden to Coor's Brewery for some free beer (take the free tour sample free beer. It's free all around.)but the trail stopped short so I turned around. Later I found that I had to take the rest of the way by road. But I wanted to take the bike trail.
So I decided to go north. It was just miles and miles of trails.
It's funny how when you ride just to ride your mind wanders. It's like any problems with your life big or small suddenly feels insignificant like people shouldn't worry at all.
I took 36 pictures. It's mostly trails. But I'll post it here anyway for your enjoyment.
Man. It's only spring. So much yet uncharted trails. Next time I have an entire day with nothing to do,I'm headed due south to where Duane goes.
It's gonna be fun.

Those first four shots I ran out of gas,but I came prepared. I have a slime tube in back again. If it blows I'm very prepared. It didn't blow! 5 psi less pressure than minimum inflation requirement is key to your tubes not blowing up.
Notice how that tree is in the middle of nowhere. I removed my kickstand for it got in my way thinking I'll always have someplace to lean my bike. I ran out of gas right by that tree. Amazing I thought.
Yes that towel on my rack is for my bum. It's actually very comfortable when I scoot back.
