Dremel Bits

Is there any advice to give when dealing with a ceramic lined cylinder?

Having never done this, I planned on smoothing the port out... then just adding a slight bevel to the edges...nothing more.

Keep the bits moving, dont hold them in one place. Light pressure and set the speed of the rotary tool where its slow enough to control but fast enough to avoid skipping. You are better off making multiple light passes so you can track your progress. Patience is a virtue.

I have several rotary tools but I’ve found the cheap one from harbor freight works best, I have to go slow or it will stall, like was said if you try to do it in a hurry with a more powerful tool you can ruin a cylinder.
