Drive gear threads

What thread is the screw holding the drive gear on? Right or left hand? Old age.
Is there a good replacement with an Allen drive?

You might need one of these to get it off, not sure if an allen head would fit in there though.

I have the tools to get it off, it's just that the screwdriver slot is easy to bugger up. I would like to find a screw for an Allen wrench.

I know what you're saying, but you have to take it off and go to a hardware store and find the allen bolt/screw. Not too sure what will fit under the cover in that location. You might have to make a relief hole.

There's a replacement bolt somewhere, but I'm not in the mood to find it. If you do let me know lol
