A ant797 New Member Local time 4:14 AM Joined Mar 25, 2013 Messages 7 Apr 7, 2013 #1 my drive sprocket locks up at low speed causing the bike to skid to a stop i have to roll it backwards to unlock it took me a while the 1st time and at higher speeds it jerks threatning to lock up witch is scarey does anyone know how to fix this

Anton Administrator Staff member Local time 6:14 AM Joined Feb 28, 2012 Messages 760 Location Australia Apr 8, 2013 #2 Sounds like your chain is too loose. Tension it with the chain tensioner, but not too much. Make sure it has about an inch of deflection from normal.
