my drive sprocket locks up at low speed causing the bike to skid to a stop i have to roll it backwards to unlock it took me a while the 1st time and at higher speeds it jerks threatning to lock up witch is scarey does anyone know how to fix this

Sounds like your chain is too loose. Tension it with the chain tensioner, but not too much. Make sure it has about an inch of deflection from normal.

now its gone the oposite it doesnt lock at all even without the clutch depressed so theres no drive

oops forgot to put the spark plug back in thanks runs fine with the chain tensioned must of stretched or the tensioner shifted positions

Yep the standard chain tensioner can come loose and shift on you depending on its design.
