Engine died. Chains still stuck. Is my engjne dead? Kill switch button broken. What do?

Take the cover that the clutch cable goes to off and look in there for the stuck chain.
Unstuck the chain. Lodged a rubber piece with some super glue above the sprocket so it doesn't get stuck anymore. Had to take chain apart. Holding the chain together with a screw and a nut[in replace of a pin). What's the damages probably? Like why would the engine even stop. Do you think the drive train is damaged or blew a head gasket/ piston.

I think the chain was too loose and bounced around and got jammed. Everything else is probably fine.
Is there like an engine check that kills the engine if the drive sprocket isn't moving? Over like a 30 second span. Idk

Get the chain back together, readjust the clutch, and they to start it again. We'll go from there

You have got to be more descriptive. Do you have a photo of what the situation currently looks like?
No photos. Going around the block. Had the idle high; going about 5 mph no throttle. Chain jammed in the drive sprocket. Locked up. No spin spin. Engine kept reving high. No throttle or clutch play. My kill switch button is physically broken. Couldn't kill the engine as it stayed possessed.

Kept reved high for like 45 seconds. Could have played with the choke to kill it probably but wasn't thinking. Now my chains off. Sprocket screw came loose. The clutch did not kill the engine while it was possessed. Wasn't grabbing.

Walked it home. Installed a rubber piece so there's no more chain jam. Don't know if the engine is shot or the clutch/drive train is dead. Gotta go get a chin half link or pin to fix my chain.

As long as the chain jamming up didn't crack the crankcase which could cause an air leak, or damage the gears on the clutch side, it should be fine. Honestly, if that chain jammed and didn't break something, you got lucky. I had that happen one time and it wrecked my case.
