Drop Handlebars

All the pictures I've seen here so far show straight handlebars as most of these conversions seem to be on mountain bikes or old cruisers.

Anybody have an example of a road bike with drop handlebars? I'm wondering where the throttle would go.

I have yet to see drop handlebars on a motoredbike. I would assume the throttle can go on the end but that would be a peculiar place for it.
Drop handlebars give you too many ways to hold your bike. I assume this is why it's not used all that much if even at all.
