Electric conversion ideas

So can you tell me does it need an intelligent controller? Or we'll just a regular controller work? Cuz I found a regular controller with the same specs and plugs but it just doesn't say intelligent on it

Intelligent controllers generally have advanced mocon drive profiles with graduated ramping, limiters for battery protection, and communication features. If that particular controller of yours is actually intelligent or not, I can't say for sure. I would assume so, but without personal experience it is just speculation for me.

These are simple answers. You have to understand that we aren't experts on your specific brand/model of bike and every bike out there from various brands can have differences that we are not aware of. If we just make up answers and are wrong it can damage your bike futher, which is something I have no desire of doing. At the end of the day we are just a bunch of random people who have a shared interest in bikes, some of us mechanics, some of us hobbyists, but none of us work for Etek

The BEST source of information is going to be the manufacturer. Period. Otherwise, take a gamble and order the one that will work even if it doesn't say "intelligent." It will likely work, but we can't say with certainty.

It says the company's in Florida but my email won't let me contact it cuz it says it's a china-based company and I can't find the intelligent matching controller anywhere it's odd but I'm going to order one that's identical except for the intelligent part off of Walmart I really appreciate you guys as time thank you so very much. Here's a picture of my bike by the way I've been working on
