Emergency thread. throttle cable came off.

I don't have time to search for this answer as i'm at a friends house right now.

my throttle cable came right off the top of the carb. the thing unscrewed and now i can't get it to be tight when it goes back on and the motor is getting no power...help please!!!

The carb piston can slide in and if not correct you can't tighten the top down. The cable with a ball is routed along the side of the carb piston with the ball on the bottom. Make sure that this grove lines up with the carb pin on the left side (look into the carb without the piston in it and you can see the pin). This will put the beveled section in line with the idle adjusting screw. You may need to back out the idle screw and reset the idle. Hope this helps.
