A supercharger on an engine that doesn't breath to begin with is only a bandaid not a cure.On these small engines if you put a proper head on them you don't need a blower with its associated issues, weight and complexity.
Lawn tools don't need high output engines so your choice is a bigger engine.
problem with replacing the head is that its invariably a unified design with cylinder, head and half a crankcase all in one... makes it very hard to do anything to it...
there are dremels with carbide burrs, admittedly, but a supercharger would be fuuun
and all the ports on mine have been big enough for me to feel its only worth cleaning out any casting flash...
