Engine not starting, ran it with an exhaust leak

Now for the exhaust side, get a O2 sensor gasket, ask politely someone will let you know which one, and put your muffler back on and double nut the studs.

This gasket is only for common China Girl motors exhaust like the 66/80cc and the 77/100cc motors with the 40mm stud to stud measurement and will NOT fit either the Phantom or the Avenger motors.

Get rid of the stock exhaust gasket that came with the engine kit and clean off any other "goop" that you may have tried along with it.

Use this Toyota Highlander O2 sensor gasket instead, available at Toyota dealership.

Here is the current Toyota dealer parts#/stock#, for that gasket...89466-20020-83.

If you shop Amazon, etc., its a "Dorman" brand part number ...Dorman 47021.

This is the United States Amazon URL site below, you will have to find what Amazon is correct for Estonia to order from
https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-47021-Oxygen-Sensor-Seal/dp/B000TYU1WE

When installing this gasket, you will need to slightly elongate the holes that go over the studs/bolts...I use a slightly larger bolt to do this through those holes.

You will notice that this gasket has some metal affixed to both sides of the gasket...The side that has the most metal is what goes against the exhaust pipe itself...DO NOT use any gasket sealers with this gasket.

There have been MULTIPLE instances where someone "has a spark, there is fuel on the spark plug", etc., but "it just won't run", and the issue has turned out to be the cheap kit plug. IF YOU HAVEN'T, REPLACE IT. They can very well spark when you check it, but not under the compression of actual running conditions.
Did not work. I checked spark again, it does spark and my rpm gauge still reads the rpms. Does not start or even fire. I played around with the choke positions, did not help. Adjusting the rpm screw did not help either.

I noticed fuel tripping out of the exhaust. So I think the engine has fuel. Also now the cylinder is wet with clear colored gas, in the pictures the cylinder had blackish fuel.

What should I do next?

Maybe the fuel is bad again? Can I test it somehow? Maybe the air is the problem? Or maybe I should buy a cheap new carb and test with it? Can I put a 80cc carb onto a 110cc engine?

Seeing that you're getting too much fuel now, are smaller carb is a good idea to try.

But could riding with the exhaust leak caused bad for the engine? Because it did work before, it just started dying with the leak.
I don't think so. The engine didn't look damaged at all.
You could try replacing the fuel again, and maybe take the carb apart and spray it out with carb clean and/or compressed air?

UPDATE: I dryed the engine and let out all of the old fuel (from the carb also). Then put new fuel in and still the same issue. Fuel gets to the engine. Tried it without a airfilter. Does not help.

What should I do? I believe I bricked the engine when I rode it with the exhaust leak. But why did it just start to die when I rode it without the exhaust?

Seems like it just does not have spark but it should have. New plug, visual spark and rpm gauge reads spark.

You must be missing something obvious. Don't worry every one makes obvious mistakes once and a while.
You say it ran before but doesn't now after an exhaust leak. That in itself shouldn't kill the motor.

So you have fresh gas and a new plug that seems to work.
Do you use the choke? After excess choking it will become flooded, you can tell because it will stink of gas. So after flooding, try starting it with the throttle wide open to dry it out. It should at least fire a couple times if not start and run.

There may be a short grounding out your spark. Your head could be loose with no compression. The key fell out of the magnet and the timing is miles off. That's about it. The crank seals can leak but it will still run poorly.

If you truly are getting fuel and spark it should run.

I will try to flood it and start with full throttle.

How can I check the spark timing? Maybe that's the issue. I took the magneto off a couple of times when the engine was sitting.

Found this with the magneto. When I try to install it so that the cap is even on both sides it just goes back to where it was because of the screw holes. Should I drill the holes in the magneto bigger? Or how should I fix this?

I assume it ran fine before like this because the screw holes don't seem to allow any kind of movement.

But not an expert.
