Can anyone tell me what year engines and transmission will fit my 1995 T-bird V8 without major changes? Ya I can switch over the sensors, and intake manifold or something simple, but no major overhauls please. I also have a Lincoln Mark VIII I plan on replacing engine and transmission too.

I think it's called "The parts interchangeability manual" but You could phone a scrap yard and they could look it up for you. I also find it better to buy the whole car. There are always parts needed that you didn't count on needing and you get a bit of money back for the scrap.

A junkyard should be able to tell you what will work, and what won't. The problem with swapping engines out of different years is that even if the basic block is the same, one year might have different holes drilled and tapped for engine sensors, and other may not. Sucks if you find out after you are 95% done with a swap that you need to drill and tap a hole in the block or head for a sensor or accessory bracket.
