Bonne chance...DAMIEN
I can only remember what a little of that's saying. I can get the jest of it though. Been 20 years since I spoke french.

I haven't used mine all that much since my high school days...thats like 50 years ago...lol...it got drummed into me along with a few other languages as well.

Hoping my french syntax wasn't too rusty for him to understand the carby tuning instructions, needle valve position float, etc. as well as reminding him to retorque his head bolts and to convert either foot or inch pound measurements i gave him to his metric equvalents.

He was running about 60 miles (100km) but would only run on full choke so im assuming he may well have never retorqued his head periodically resulting in a possible super lean situation that prevent starting or running without choke full on.

Also instructed him to inspect spark plug and clean but better to just replace and gap at 6mm,(.025)...DAMIEN

thank you i did all that, cant run it until the week end but it should probably work, i also noticed most of the parts on the carb were pretty loose so i tightened everything up. it should work nicely now.

i was also thinking of running it with nitromethane mixed in the gasoline, any advice for that ?

Check out my nitropropane post. Nitromethane does not mix with gas. Use nitropropane instead. It is 70% the power of nitromethane and used as rocket fuel.

I love my nitropropane bike, the exhaust smells like race day.

Brand name Klotz is what I use. I believe it's world wide. Is a racing fuel. Google koltz nitropropane with koolinol.

I get it off ebay. Its about 90 bucks a gallon, but you mix. So the amount you get out of it will differ from me. I use 16 oz a gallon and am moving up to more slowly to find my max.

thats pretty expensive ill try to get some later, do you know if you can mix nitromethane with E85 ethanol and will it run in a 2 stroke ? that would be way cheaper
