ETEK Electric Motors

No but I'm going to try to use a Tecumseh H35 on my trike.

Right now I have the engine and a TAV2 Torque Averter to go on it.

I'm sure a similar combination could be had the the Intek series, but keep it under 5 hp unless you have a death wish of some sort :devilish: .

These combinations will weigh nearly 40 lbs and will not fit in the frame like a "Happy time" or similar brand 2 cycle will.

you would not rather go with a gas motor? you can get gas anywhere. what do you do when you run out of electricity?

I have lots of gas motors.
I thought I could ride an electric bike to work and charge it there, on their dime.
That way I would not have to buy $3.00 a gallon gas.

Oh, I guess I should have said that the ETEK is an electric motor.

Oops I must have mistaken Etek for Intekm, my bad.

This is sort of a bicycle, called a Jackal.
It has the ETEK Motor. I rode one, it hauls.

WOW... that is too awesome.

I'm gonna have to consider building an e-bike as fast as that, and just give up on it having any range whatsoever. Then hopefully when bigger, better batteries come out... I'll just hook it up and ride 30 miles in a day at lightning fast speed.
