Exhaust pipe bending/replacement

I just finished building my bike, a 29" wheel cruiser-style with a 4-stroke 49cc engine. I'd much prefer to use the chrome exhaust pipe and muffler that came with the kit. Unfortunately, it won't fit without bending the pipe a few inches from the engine. Question: Any good ideas as to how to do this or have it done? Is there a muffler on the market made to fit this situation?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you have access to a table vise you can lightly clamp on the header end and bend the pipe that way. Hard to say for certain tho, as you've provided no pictures.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it, maybe your local muffler shop can do it inexpensively.
