Expansion chamber , but needs research & development

Heres a pic of a pipe prior to welding I made for a freind of mine using Jennings formula.
It came with in 400 rpm of the best pipe on the market at the time. (17,500-18,000 rpm range)26cc gasoline RC Boat application.

where did you get those cones? did you roll them yourself?

Thats was an experiment to test the resonant qualities of aluminum that was harder than sheet stock. So I machined those cones from bar.

Rolling cones isn't that hard provided you have a slip roll with a small enough diameter top roll to fit in pipe.
Cutting up existing pipes is an easy way to get cones.

Great work it looks like the on i bought for u.s. $120 dollars from pipeline mfg.

latest expansion chamber

Hi All.
It's been a while , study and exams have taken priority,
but here is the latest pipe i done .

This chamber is a fusion of a **** pocket bike pipe,
and a body of a stock muffler, and the result is PRETTY good for this 66cc.

About the right loudness for cars to hear me.

** used an old seat post again for length to the muffler**

Thats good to hear cabinfever1977, but 45km/h doesnt cut it for me ,
I'd be left behind on our social rides@45.

Take care on the roads everyone.

LARGE expansion chamber & 19mm carb with 3 jets

thats a great design what is your top speed and how well does your bike go up steep hills?

Thanks jlebh1,

yeah top speed between 55-60kn/h with 34 tooth sprocket.

Up hills - i got to pedal but i get to the top -- with some sweat out of my head .

*******************************

I have another (more expensive ) water cooled pocket bike expansion that i will chop up and graft into a NICE ONE to suit the HT..

*****
In conjunction with this 19mm three jet carby :)

Should give me the performance ive wanted from the start!!

Cheers,

Jase
