Expansion chamber

This expansion muffler won't fit because the pedal hits it. How do I bend it properly without beating it with a rubber mallet and i don't have a vise. I could get one if I need one.
Posted three pics of it below, the dings already in it were the ones I had to do to get it to fit a Margaritaville bike, but I try to put it on this kulana bike and pedals hit. I marked on it where it needs to be bent more.

Cut and re-weld the flange or get a wide set of cranks. I got a nice set of wide cranks off of an old exercise bike that I got for free.

dont hit that pipe its the one i have use a x-port

Ya might as well just smack that pipe again to make it fit. It cant get any worse it's already beat up pretty bad.
