Explosion in the carburator

Hi! Yesterday, I tried to start my engine when an explosion in the carburator happened. Now the engine, has low compression, I heard air leaks. Not able to start it. HELP!

sounds like it backfired - I'd check that a crank seal didn't pop out

It actualy did that. I applied force on the head while I was screwing the nuts. Run perfectly now, better than before. Thx for the help
